Regarding measurements:  To ensure you are making the correct measurements, please take down the actual hole dimensions into which the vent will be placed.  Do not measure faceplate.  For instance, if floor hole size is 10 x 14 inches, please order a 10 x 14 inch grille.

Faceplate dimensions are 11 13/16 x 15 13/16 inches. The grille drops into the floor approximately 3/4 inch. The faceplate thickness is approximately 3/16 inch. See enlarged photo for vent details and measurements.
