Replace your old, moldy, rusty metal filter grille with these Decorative Wood Filter Grilles! These grilles are made from 100% laminated birch hardwood with a veneered faceplate. Your choice between oak, maple or cherry unfinished veneers. If you are planning on painting your filter grille the manufacturer recommends you use the maple veneer. Each grille includes a filter frame which is installed in the opening. A dark blue 1" filter is also included with purchase as well as a removable filter door that is held into place with brass thumb screws and all hardware needed for installation.
These beautiful wood filter vents are made to order, they should ship in 3-5 weeks. Pattern Cut Filter Grilles are special order, non-returnable and cannot be canceled once we receive payment.
How to Order Your Decorative Return Air Vent Cover
- Measure your wall opening (Width x Height) in inches.
- Go to the drop down menu that says "Size/Price" and select the size you measured*** (if the hole in your wall is 12" wide x 6" high, select the size 12 x 6).
- Hint: The overall filter grille unit (after installed) will be 2 inches larger than the size listed (1 inch overhang on wall on all sides)
-In the final drop down menu that says "Wood Type" you'll be able to make your choice between an oak veneer, maple veneer, or cherry veneer (The core will always be birch hardwood).
***Please note - The custom wood filter grilles are made specifically to fit the hole opening in your wall or ceiling. Like any drop in vent, the filter frame will be slightly smaller than your opening size, in order to fit.
These decorative filter grilles are meant to be used in the wall and ceiling only. They are not strong enough to be used in the floor.
