8 x 30 Floor Vent - Cold Air Return Cover

This 8 x 30 floor vent is constructed of heavy duty rigid steel. The all steel construction of this cold air return cover makes this a great choice for areas where you have heavy foot traffic. Because of their sturdy, rigid construction these 8 x 30 floor vents can be installed into both residential and commercial settings. This cold air return cover also features a smooth surface with an air flow free area averaging over 75%, allowing for efficient air exchange from duct work in the floor. 

Installing this 8 x 30 floor vent is easy. Just place the cold air return cover into the floor opening. The surrounding lip will help to hold cover in place. Outside dimension is 9 13/16 x 31 13/16.  

Also available are heavy duty registers, which have an adjustable damper to allow for complete air flow control.

Regarding measurements:  Please ensure you are measuring the actual size of the floor hole into which this vent will be placed.  To estimate the correct vent size, please do not measure the faceplate of the old grille.  For instance, if floor hole size is 8 x 30 inches, purchase an 8 x 30 inch grille. 

Heavy Gauge Floor Return Dimensions:

Faceplate is approximately 3/16 inch thick and has overall dimensions of 9 13/16 x 31 13/16 inches. The grille will drop into the hole opening approximately 3/4 inch.
