Regarding measurements:  Please ensure you are measuring the actual size of the floor hole into which this vent will be placed.  In order to have the correct vent size, please do not measure the faceplate of the old grille.  For instance, if floor hole size is 14 x 24 inches, please purchase a 14 x 24 inch grille.

The grille drops into the hole opening approximately 3/4 inch.  The approximate thickness of the faceplate is 3/16 inch and has overall dimensions of 15 13/16 x 25 13/16 inches.  See enlarged photo for grille details.
