This damper allows you to adjust the airflow of the grille with a screw driver.

These wood air return decorative wall grilles are measured by the size of the duct opening. The duct is measured in inches, width by height. For exampe, if your duct opening is 24" wide by 12" tall you would need the 24 x 12 wall grille. The faceplate of the grille will be 1 3/4" larger than the duct opening. In the previous example, the faceplate would measure 25 3/4" wide by 13 3/4" tall. The approximate thickness of the faceplate is 1/4".
