Regarding measurements: To ensure you are making the correct measurements, please do not measure the faceplate of the register to be replaced. Instead, measure the actual size of the hole into which this product will be installed. For example, if floor hole size is 8 x 10 inches, please purchase an 8 x 10 inch vent. The faceplate dimensions are 10 x 12 inches with an approximate thickness of 3/16 inch. The damper sits in the floor hole opening approximately 2 7/8 inch.
