Pattern Cut decorative Filter Grilles accentuate any room. They can be painted to match your walls or stained to match your trim. These filter grilles come in 26 different designs for you to choose from. They also come in 56 sizes, if you don't see the size you need listed in the drop down menu, call us at 800-504-5989 to get a quote. These wooden grilles are measured by the size of the duct opening in your wall. Measure your return air duct opening width x height. For example, if your duct opening is 10" wide x 6" high you would order a 10 x 6 return air grille. The actual faceplate of the grille will then be 2" larger (in this example the faceplate will be 12" x 8"). These grilles are constructed from a 1/4" thick Baltic Birch ply. For the face of the return air vent, you have the option of choosing between Maple, Oak, or a Cherry Veneer. If you will be painting the grille, the manufacturer recommends you select the maple veneer. They are shipped to you sanded and ready to be finished however you'd like.
Each grille includes a filter frame which is installed in the opening. A dark blue 1" filter is also included with purchase as well as a removable filter door that is held into place with brass thumb screws and all hardware needed for installation.
These wood design fitler grilles are not meant to be used in the floor.
How to Order a Wood Design Return Air Grille
- Measure the size of your duct in inches width by height (horizontal x vertical)
Example: If the hole in your wall measures 20" wide x 12" tall, you would want to order a 20 x 12 grille.
Hint: The actual faceplate of the grille will be 2" larger than the duct. (22 x 14" in this example)
- In the first drop down menu (Size/Price) select the size you need.
Hint: Once you've selected your size, the price of the grille will appear at the bottom.
- Determine which wood veneer you'd like your grille to have.
Hint: the manufacturer recommends choosing the Maple if you plan to paint your grille.
- In the final drop down menu, select your wood veneer.
The wood Pattern Cut Filter Grilles have a lead time of 3-5 weeks to ship because they are cut to order. They are also a special order, non-returnable item and cannot be canceled once payment is received.
