Pattern Cut Return Air Grille Cover - Pattern Q

These decorative wood filter grilles by Pattern Cut, Inc replace dingy, damaged white steel return filter grilles. The wood return air grilles are manufactured from 100% laminated birch hardwood with a veneered face. You can add style to any room while trapping harmful dust and particles in your HVAC system. You have your choice between three unfinished veneers: oak, maple or cherry. If you anticipate on painting the grille, the manufacturer recommends the maple veneer. These decorative wood filter grilles, however, can be painted to match your walls or stained to match your trim. They come sanded and ready for you to finish however you'd like. On top of the 56 different sizes these wall grilles come in, Pattern Cut, Inc also offers custom sizes. Just call 1-800-504-5989 for a quote.

Each Pattern Cut wood filter grille includes a filter frame (that is installed in the opening) that holds the included 1" filter and removable filter door that is held into place with brass thumb screws. This way you have easy access to the filter compartment when changing of the filter is needed.

These wood grilles are made to order and may take
3-5 weeks to ship. They are considered special order, non-returnable and cannot be canceled once payment is received.

How to Order Your Decorative Air Return Wall Grille

- Measure the duct opening in your wall or ceiling (w" x h").
Ex: a 12" wide x 6" high duct opening will need a 12 x 6 wall grille.
Hint: The outer measurement of the grilles will be 2" larger than the duct size. In the previous example, the faceplate would measure 14" x 8"

- Fill a large pan with the stain of your choice.
- Submerge the grille in the pan.

- Lay the grille cover flat and spray 2 - 3 coats of a lacquer sanding sealer along with 1 coat on the back.

- Again, lay the grille flat and spray with a clear lacquer.
- Allow to cure for 3 days.
